Medical
In March of 2020 the COVID-19 pandemic changed everything. Countries all over the world realized—too late—that just-in-time supply chains will not work for emergency medical supplies, such as Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
In an effort to continue to support Canadians, TricoPPS made a strategic decision to pivot the business expanded it’s MDEL (Medical Device Establishment License) from import and distribution of Class 1 PPE, to include manufacturing. Within our Ottawa based facility, we now have multiple machines in operation with production capabilities exceeding 10 million surgical masks monthly. All masks (Level 1, 2 and 3) are manufactured in a clean room environment and are tested against ASTM F2100 standards. Most importantly, not only are the masks made right here in Canada, but our mask body materials are also manufactured completely within North America further securing supply chain reliability!
